Disclosing bad mood

Sometimes bad mood can ruin all the good job done in weeks.

My daughter is an open book. She comes to me and she says “Today I’m unhappy because I’ve been admonished by the teacher”. I’m not always so clear telling her if something is troubling me and the result is that I can give her wrong signals causing misunderstandings and making more difficult the interpretation of my behaviour. More than once I felt that she was moving away from me. For a long time we stick together, then it happens that I’m not able to tell I’ve some worry and the harmony we’ve hardly built up vanishes.
